How Much Did You Say It Costs?

Now that we’ve looked at all the signs God has given us to show us how close the End is to us, it’s now time for us to fast forward our clocks to the time of the End. According to the Traditional Timeline the next event of God’s prophetic calendar will the Rapture (more on that later). This view does not take into account the various last minute items that are needed to be in place for the End Times events to take place. One of those events is the institution of a one world currency.

The Bible does not specifically state there will be a one world currency but it is highly suggested in the following verses.

And he causeth all, both and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Revelation 13:16, 17

The reason this event must take place just prior to the End Times is that it takes a number of years from date of issuance of a currency before it is accepted by everyone. In 1792 Congress created the Coinage Act which established the dollar as the currency for the newly formed United States. Due to a limited supply minted and resistance from the states it took almost 10 years before all 13 states adopted the newly minted dollar as one of their official currencies.

It wasn’t until 1863 with the National Banking Act that the dollar became the sole currency used in the United States. Almost 71 years after the new currency was issued was completely accepted by the entire nation.

Using a calculator you would see that this world currency would have to start it’s original issuance up to 68 years before the beginning of the Tribulation in order to be fully accepted by the mid point spoken of in Revelation 13.

In April 2020 the United Nations released a 218-page report from the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development outlining a new global currency called the UN dollar to replace all current global currencies used today. Originally introduced in 2009 this new currency would work similar to Bitcoin without the need for blockchains. The only conversion rate announced as of September 2022 is one UN Dollar would equal 10 US Dollars.

If we use our national history of currency acceptance, this would put the middle of the Tribulation at approximately the year 2091. If we use the shortest date from history we arrive at 2030. Sounds preposterous, maybe not lets take a look at some historic estimates of the End from several sources.

Nostradamus – 2024

Isaac Newton – 2060

Christ publication of gospel – ~ 2025
MIT computer program – 2040

Heinz Von Foerster from overpopulation – 2026

Messiah Foundation from asteroid -2026

Kent Hovind the Rapture – 2028

This is not to say that I believe that the earliest date of the End of Times will begin in the year 2025 because Wycliffe Publishing states that it takes approximately 5 -10 years for the gospel to take effect allowing the growth of churches in the area. I find that it is interesting that multiple sources are putting the End around the same specific decade(s). To steal a quote used in the News recently 1 point does not make a pattern, same here, one prophecy being fulfilled does not make it a fact, you need more points before making that determination. In the coming weeks we will look at other prophecies that must be fulfilled before we can truly state the End is here.

This week take some time in contemplation of your life attitude as it concerns money. The American dollar has “In God we Trust” printed on it. Is this true, do you truly trust God when the going gets tough or do you trust in you job, money for your security.

Father,

During the course of my life I have found myself stressing over my financial security. These times has led me to put my trust into my employers and my own effort. Over time you have taken away these idols in my life showing me the truth of where my faith should lie. Lord I pray that your Holy Spirit would convict me of straying from the foundation of truth which is the Lord Himself, drawing me closer to You not allowing the world to corrupt me.

Amen

I'm a 50+ year old country boy raised in southeast Georgia. My dad said "rich people go to school, poor people go to work," I became an electrician in the U.S. Navy. After retiring, I spent 16 years as a construction electrician in North Carolina and Virginia. Across the many sites I worked I had the privilege of defending God and His Word from the mainstream to the exotic, the uneducated to the scholar and back again. With no formal education but a love of God's Word, I self educated myself with each new concept I encountered. As a seeker of truth, I researched each topic using writings from the earliest church fathers to current biblical scholars across denominational lines. I was raised in a evangelical fundamental denomination with a rigid and inflexible view of biblical interpretation. The more I learned I abandoned some of the ideas of my youth. Today I'm back in "God's country" married, working as a security guard. Yet the love I have for God's Word has created a wise man out of a country bumpkin. My only claim to notoriety came I was placed on the "do not call" list of an evangelical cult. Seems they didn't like a nobody using their bible to show them God's truth uncovering their own deceptions and lies.
